Standardised price list.

The Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) requires us and all other funeral directors to publish a Standardised Price List, information about our business and business terms alongside our existing price list, which has details of many other different options that you might choose for a life celebration.

At Divine Ceremony, we have built our business on service, support and an open and honest approach. We welcome the introduction of initiatives that improve clarity, choice and control for everyone engaging with the funeral industry. The Standardised Price List requires all Funeral Directors to present their prices in a particular format which allows comparison of elements of a standardised funeral. This does not perhaps reflect the elements of a non-standard funeral and particularly, for us, the values we hold around care, ritual and respect. The CMA asks that we give you a charge for visiting someone who has died, and we simply don’t do that. So we have put in a nominal fee of £5.00 for something we believe is a an important part of saying goodbye and not something we charge as extra. Whether you prefer to use our full price guide which contains additional options, or the CMA’s Standardised Price List, be assured the prices all add up to the same amount. And we are always here to explain or help if anything is confusing or you have any questions.
